Die neue CD enthält drei Stücke vom 1969er Newport Jazz Festival (mit dem „Lost Quintet“) sowie den Mitschnitt vom Isle of Wight Festival im folgenden Jahr.
Letzterer erschien damals kurz auf LP und ist seit ein paar Jahren auf der hervorragenden DVD „Miles Electric“ greifbar. Zuletzt erschien der Mitschnitt auf CD im Rahmen der grossen Miles-Box mit allen Columbia/Sony-Alben (die ich nicht gekauft habe, weil ich eh schon beinahe alles davon habe, es fehlt mir bloss das Japan-only Antibes 1969 Album und die Bonustracks von „We Want Miles“).
Anyway, sollte eine exzellente CD sein – auch wenn das Cover eher hässlich geraten ist.
