„Well, here’s a nice surprise for all you Calexico fans.
A four-piece Calexico did a secret gig in Berlin yesterday evening. They performed in front of about 50 people who were lucky enough to win tickets for this show. As they were supporting their excellent new CD „Carried To Dust“, they played only new material (one of the songs — Frank’s Tavern — even appears to be played for the first time).
Radio 1 changed their programme to broadcast about 56 minutes of the show. Here’s the digital capture of this broadcast. It’s not the complete show, as Calexico continued to play after the radio show had ended. Better incomplete than nothing, no?“
