Ich kann bis heute nicht entdecken, was die Lobeshymnen für dieses Monumentalwerk rechtfertigt. Waters‘ Gigantismus hinterlässt für mich ein Werk, dessen Grundstimmung fürchterlich deprimierend ist und für mich auf die komplette Länge auch nicht mit Genuß durchzustehen ist.
