The lead single from Pearl Jam’s still-untitled new studio album will be titled „World Wide Suicide,“ FMQB can officially reveal. The highly anticipated new track will impact at radio on March 14. Those who have heard the song have said it is on the rocking end of the Pearl Jam musical spectrum. The new record itself will arrive in stores on May 2 via their new label home, J Records. J Records also released the band’s acoustic live album, Live At Benaroya Hall, in 2004.
Last fall, Eddie Vedder told a Brazilian radio station that the band’s new material was „easily the best stuff we’ve done but also some of the hardest stuff. It’s very aggressive, because again, it’s kind of a product of what it’s like to be an American these days. It’s pretty aggressive, especially when you turn it loud.“
