Hier ist mal was fast Neues von einem der 3 ELO Gründungsmitglieder – Roy Wood. Der Songtitel „Kiss Me Goodnight Boadicea“ hat mich neugierig gemacht, konnte des Stückes aber nie habhaft werden. Ziemlich coole Rock’n’Roll Nummer und schöne Harmonien. Find‘ ich gut!
Weiß eigentlich jemand etwas über die beiden Songs, die Roy vor ein paar Jahren zusammen mit Jeff (ihr wißt schon – dem Onkel) aufgenommen hat. Einer heißt „Me And You“. Würde ich zu gerne auch mal hören.
Zitat aus Face The Music Issue 16 von 1993:
„Well, it’s mainly me, but Jeff does a bit as well. We wrote them together. I had the skeleton for „Me And You“. I took it over to Jeff’s house, and played it to him, and he added some bits of his own to it as well. We did that, and whilst I was there, we stayed up all night, and played a bit of skiffle, and this is how the other one came about. It’s a skiffle song.“
