Lange ist es her, aber an die damalige Wirkung des Albums habe ich noch genaue Erinnerungen. Eine solch geballte Ladung Sleaze-Rock hatte ich bis dahin noch nicht gehört. Aber es wirkte irgendwie nicht zu überdreht und die meisten Songs wurden mit Witz und Raffinesse dargeboten. Und die Schwarte krachte ganz schön.
