Nein, das Album und ich, wir kommen nicht zueinander. Auch jetzt nach vielen Jahren, in denen ich es ignoriert habe, hat ein erneuter Versuch keinen Erfolg gebracht. Die Songs mehrheitlich Dutzendware, die musikalische Umsetzung fragwürdig. Einzig das sparsame „Cautious man“, welches konzeptionell auch auf „Nebraska“ oder „The ghost of Tom Joad“ gut gepasst hätte, und den Closer „Valentine’s day“ möchte ich eigentlich nicht missen. Das Album bleibt dennoch ein Kandidat, die Sammlung auf Dauer zu verlassen.
