Ach so, weil wir’s drüben von Kenny Dorham hatten: dass Vol. 2 von KD & The Jazz Prophets nie erschien, finde ich enorm bedauerlich (und ich hab die Aufnahme leider auch nie gehört). Bei Mulligan bin ich recht gleichgültig, da gibt es so viele Aufnahmen – obwohl die Songbook-Session schon besonders ist.

Vielleicht nicht genug Material für eine ganze Platte … vielleicht am Ende einfach rejected … müsste daheim noch bei Claude Schlouch gucken, ob er das kommentiert hat (glaub aber nicht, wäre eine Ausnahme).
