Alan Silva and his Celestial Communication Orchestra – Luna Surface | Noch ein heftiges Album aus den Sessions im August 1969 … wieder grosse Besetzung und ein paar Gesichter, die auf den anderen Alben noch nicht auftauchten: Anthony Braxton (ss/as), Leroy Jenkins (v),Bernard Vitet (t, frh) und Claude Delcloo (d). Der Leader spielt Violine, den Bass übernehmen Beb Guérin und Favors, wieder dabei sind Shepp (ss), Terroade, Moncur und Burrell. Das ist wohl sowas wie das Xenakis-Album im BYG-Katalog … und es ist echt heftig, zumal es nur ein Stück (in zwei Teilen) über 28 Minuten gibt.
