Das neue Doppelalbum von Ryan Gustafson aus Asheville, North Carolina. „Body of Light“ mit klassischem Alt-Country, frei fließende Melodiebögen, bei manchen Tracks ein schöner Cosmic Americana-Vibe, durchaus eigenwillige und verschrobene Songs und Ideen, aber oft gepaart mit lässigen Pop Hooks. „I Am a Cloud“ ist dann flächiger, mehr auf Klanglandschaften fokussiert, eine Mischung aus Art Pop, Ambient, Jazz und Drones.
Das ergibt dann folgenden Zwuíschenstand:
