Hearts and Bones laut Mozza. Ich würde dir aber eher zu You’re the One von 2000 raten. Recht traditionelles Singer/Songwriter-Album. Und das ist nicht böse gemeint. Ich mag das Album sehr.
Ich merke mir natürlich beide, falls ich da mal weiter eintauchen möchte. Danke dir.
Oder natürlich There Goes Rhymin’ Simon von 1973; damit kann man überhaupt gar nichts verkehrt machen; mit Still Crazy After All These Years von 1975 aber eigentlich auch nicht. Vielleicht würde dir klanglich sogar One-Trick Pony (1980) zusagen. (Von mir für alle mindestens ****)
Mich hat The Rhythm of the Saints zum Fan gemacht. Einmal gehört, gleich Fan. Um Graceland zu mögen, brauchte ich länger. Von „The Boxer“ war ich schon als Kind Fan, wusste aber nicht, von wem das ist.
Die Percussion auf You’re the One ist doch eher weniger traditionell. Ich habe das Album wahrscheinlich zu oft gehört, sodass es sich für mich inzwischen nach eher traditionellem Songwriting und traditionellen Arrangements anhört. :) Hearts and Bones klingt nach britischen 80ern mit authentischem New-York-Akzent; das finde ich immer wieder spannend.
Songs from the Capeman (1997) ist natürlich textlich sehr rough, sodass das Musical auf dem Broadway floppen musste. Kein schönes Entertainment. Aber auch richtig gut und wie nichts sonst; oder ich kenn’s nicht.
