Die andere Neuheit in der Reihe ist Vol. 1 der Basie All Stars, 1981 (Edison, Newman, Powell, Royal, Tate, Mitchell, Nat Pierce, John Heard, Gus Johnson). Interessiert neben mir wohl noch drei Greise, die den VÖ-Termin vielleicht nicht mehr erleben werden 
Hat jemand schon die zwei neuen Doppel-CDs von Ahmad Jamal auf Elemental gehört? („Emerald City Nights: Live at the Penthouse 1963–1964“ bzw. „… 1965–1966“, )
