Dearest friends and fans,
I am so excited to share with you my next single from American Siren, „Cheap Seats!“ I wrote this song in the fall of 2019 after seeing John Prine and Bonnie Raitt perform at the Ryman! I purchased one of the cheap seats on the main floor to watch them– it was an obstructed view seat with a column in front of me, so it was half price! That was such a pivotal moment for me in my career. I’d seen my very first success in the music business that year, but I was still grinding away at my dream and paying my dues.
Cheap Seats is about holding the vision for your wildest dreams, even when they seem so far away. That is what I wish for you– to keep a candle burning (for your dreams) through the night.
