Finger Poppin‘ with the Horace Silver Quintet | Das erste Album des klassischen Mitchell/Cook-Line-Ups – und bei mir tendentiell ein etwas unterschätztes, das ich wie „Stylings“ (das aber gleich einschlug, ist ja auch Hank Mobley dabei ) und „Doin‘ the Thing“ erst durch die RVG-Ausgabe kennenlernte (in diesem Fall 2003). Da stimmt halt wirklich schon zu Beginn alles, und das Material von Silver ist wie immer super.
