„March 27, 1991. Miles took his band into a studio in Germany
to record several tunes written by Prince. One of them was
„Jailbait“, and the others were probably „Penetration“ and
„A Girl And Her Puppy“. According to Gordon Meltzer, Miles’s
tour manager at the time, Miles recorded „guide tracks“ and
planned to re-record his horn parts back in the U.S. He never
did, but Warner Bros remixed at least one track („Jailbait“),
which was deemed good enough for inclusion on the six-disc
version of The Last Word.“ (S. 494)
