was die Entstehung des Namens betrifft, kann man zB Art Simmons‘ Kolumne in Jet lesen, 1970 erzaehlt er von „l’Art Ensemble“ mit Roscoe Mitchell , Malachi Favors , Leslie Bowie , Larry Jarman and Grachan Moncur III, 1971 dann vom Chicago Art Ensemble mit Don Moore, Mitchell, Bowie und Jarman… (krieg das mit den links nicht hin, das hier muesste der eine sein, google books
