@gypsy: dieses Buch, The Encyclopedia Yearbooks Of Jazz, eine Neuauflage von zwei Ergaenzungsbaenden zu Feathers EnzyklopaedieDanke! Da ist die „Encyclopedia“ selbst also auch drin? Oder ist diese 1956er-Ausgabe an sich schon eine Ergänzung? Hatte davon noch nie irgendeine Ausgabe in den Händen…
Zusatzfrage, falls Du das auch grad weisst: wie verhält sich das zur Feather/Gitler „Biographical Encyclopedia“? Die (in einer Ausgabe von 2007) gibt es nämlich noch:
