Keine Ahnung, wie das schlau übersetzt werden kann … Flächen vielleicht? Aber das ist ein völlig schiefes Bild, denn die Flächen sind ja schief und bewegen sich dauernd. Es gibt aber wie ich sehe einen Wiki-Eintrag, der das Verfahren recht anschaulich erklärt:
