Nach der Don Cherry ging es noch mit der famosen Tone Poet Pressung von Contours weiter (großartiges Album!), danach dann direkt zu John William:

TADD DAMERON with JOHN COLTRANE – Mating Call (Prestige, 1957)

JOHN COLTRANE WITH THE RED GARLAND TRIO (Prestige, 1958)

Beide Alben sind auf ihre unterschiedliche Art berauschend – man kann sich kaum vorstellen, wohin das noch führen sollte.
