Das sind auch keine Einzelfälle … davor hatte schon Artie Shaw mal eine Band mit Streichern, auch Musiker wie Ben Webster, Dizzy Gillespie oder Clifford Brown machten Aufnahmen mit Streichern. So richtig toll ist das Ergebnis aber oftmals nicht, auch Parkers Aufnahmen bleiben für mich zwiespältig, aber ich höre sie doch hie und da gerne.
