@sidewinder Muss immer an diese Miles Davis / John Coltrane Anekdote denken, wenn ich „Australian Jazz Quartet“ lese, irgendwann 1955, Coltrane in Miles Band, „Coltrane had already missed one night, he was late again, and Miles was fuming. The other band is getting near the end of their set. Australian, right? Whiter than white. Coltrane walks in, high, looking awful. Miles says to Coltrane „If you do this to me again motherfucker I’m going to sell you to the Australian Jazz Quartet!“ (nach Szweds Buch, eine Erinnerung von Miles‘ Schneider, der dabei war)
