Gerade zum ersten Mal angehört, natürlich im aktuellen Japan-CD-Reissue … hatte den Titel schon seit Jahren im Kopf abgelegt – woher wohl, steht das Album ev. im „Jazz-Buch“ bei den Empfehlungen? Egal, es ist jedenfalls wirklich gut, und die drei Bonustracks sind ebenfalls toll – das Programm führt von Lehar über Standards aus den Zehnern und später bis zu „Killing Me Softly“, der erste Bonustrack, „Back Home in Indiana“ (1917) ist eins meiner Highlights! Ein irrer Pianist, der leider viel zu oft ignoriert wird!
