Two folk singers from Dayton, Ohio, Jonathan and Leigh made only one, rare album for Vanguard in 1967 and then seemed to disappear without trace. The style is folk but with folk rock waiting in the wings.
Folk Rock wartet nicht nur in den Kulissen, er ist eher Nebendarsteller mit Ambitionen zum Hauptdarsteller, die elektrische Gitarre zieht sich durch so gut wie alle Songs und den Einfluss von Bringing It All Back Home bzw. Sounds of Silence kann man auch mehr als einmal deutlich ausmachen. Im Titelstück und Summer Sorrow kündigt sich sogar schon der Advent des Acid Folk an. (Siehe auch „Song des Tages“.)
