ragged-gloryWie gefallen Dir „Satan’s A Woman“ und „Planet England“? Kennst Du meine (bisherige) Single des Jahres, Current Affairs‘ „Buckle Up“?
Waren mir alle bis soeben unbekannt. Das habe ich jetzt geändert. Erster Eindruck:
„Satan’s a woman“ ist flott, lockt sicherlich auf die Tanzfläche, hat mich aber nicht direkt umgehauen. Dass sich Robyn Hitchcock und Andy Partridge zusammengetan haben, um eine EP zu veröffentlichen, ist eine neue und wichtige Information für mich. Track 1 + 4 der EP „Turn me on, deadman“ und „Planet England“ gingen mir auf Anhieb gut ins Ohr. Die beiden anderen Tracks eher nicht. Und „Buckle up“ ist zweifelsohne gut gemacht in dem Genre, in dem sich die Band bewegt, aber nicht zwingend mein Spielplatz.
