Von Elgars „Sea Pictures“ gibt es wohl bereits definitive Aufnahmen, Chaussons „Poème de l’aour et de la mer“ hat heuer auch Véronique Gens aufgenommen (hervorragend!), aber Joncières „La Mer“, das dritte Werk hier, ist eine Ersteinspielung – und Lemieux überhaupt nicht zu verachten.
