Das Album war damals mit 7.7 zwar nicht schlecht bewertet, aber für eine Dekaden Top 10 dürfte das normalerweise kaum reichen. Scheint dort ein echter Grower zu sein.

Die Meinung eines einzelnen Autors ist halt nicht repräsentativ für ein ganzes Magazin.
Ich finde zahlreiche Nennungen ehrlich gesagt extrem fragwürdig. Liest sich oftmals mehr nach dem who-is-who der Verkaufszahlen und Bekanntheitsgrade. Vor allem sind m.E. nach viele Acts keine Albumkünstler.

Sicher, aber ich kann mich nicht erinnern, dass das Album damals groß für Aufsehen gesorgt hat. Ganz im Gegensatz zu den nun schlechter platzierten Yeezus, good kid, m.A.A.d city oder recht deutlich gar Lemonade.

Es ging mir hier tatsächlich um die Billboard Liste, ich habe die Zuordnung aber erst nach dem Post nochmal durchgesehen. Von Sheeran über Cardi B bis hin zu Riri, Pink, Adele, Ke$ha, Mars, Grande, Rae Sremmurd usw. usf. sind das alles Acts, die sicher ihre Momente haben und hatten – aber haben sie auch nur ein Meisterwerk auf Albumlänge gemacht? Mal ganz abseits einem der besten Werke der Dekade.

Wobei Anti tatsächlich ein Album ist, das als solches auch funktioniert und nicht nur eine bloße Hit Kollektion mit Füllmaterial ist und somit sicher nicht zu Unrecht in solchen Listen auftaucht.
