Sonny Simmons 1982 im Fantasy Studio … ob das Ding 1982 überhaupt erschien, ist wohl unklar, meine CD ist die von 990 auf West Wind, ITM, das andere Blobel-Label, steht aber auch noch dort … vermutlich wurde es einst für wen anders (Fantasy?) produziert, aber kam dort nicht heraus? Die Band ist eine Mischung aus bekannt (Billy Higgins), halb bekannt (Joe Bonner, Herbie Lewis), ein wenig bekannt (Michael Marcus, der hier Barisax spielt und als Co-Arrangeur waltet, komponiert hat alles Simmons) und unbekannt (Joe Hardin und Al Thomas an Trompete bzw. Posaune).
