( @soulpope) – dass es das frühe RT Belgrad-Album auf einem Twofer gibt (mit Spock-Frisur?) war mir noch gar nicht bekannt, ich habe davon einen Rip irgendwoher, aus den Tagen, als es noch Musik-Blogs gab, die sowas regelmässig digitalisiert anboten …
Die Diskographie von Thompson habe ich nicht so genau im Griff bzw. habe mir bisher die Mühe nicht gemacht, die Fresh Sound-Box mit den anderen vorhandenen CDs (Jazz in Paris, Original Vogue Masters, Americans Swinging in Paris) abzugleichen … aber in der Box sind eben ein paar Dinge drin, die mir noch fehlten und ich kaufte die dann zähneknirschend doch noch (ebenso die Live-CD, aber nicht die CD mit den grösseren Besetzungen, da letztere nichts enthält, was ich nicht schon in offiziellen Ausgaben habe).
Aber gemäss dem Eintrag von Noal Cohen in seiner LT-Diskographie spielt Sels nur auf zwei Tracks (auf denen Thompson mitspielt, aber nicht soliert) – und die Erklärung zu „Takin‘ Care o‘ Business“ steht da auch gleich:

Track a is incorrectly listed as „One Cool Night“ on all issues but it is definitely the blues called „Takin‘ Care ‚o Business“ on the February 22, 1956 session. The tracks issued on the EPs are mono and those on the LP stereo but the mono and stereo tracks have the same timings and are apparently the same takes.
