krass, ray charles… das ist ja eine tolle überraschung!
(und eben mit dem grossartigen Oscar Pettiford, der aber auch keine Mühe hatte, sich für sowas herzugeben, wo er keinen Raum kriegt … und Joe Harris, der mich manchmal – z.B. Bird & Diz @ Carnegie Hall – ziemlich nervt, aber auch nicht so oft auftaucht, als dass er zur Hassfigur würde oder so … später, im Clarke/Boland-Umfeld, ist er eigentlich total in Ordnung)
