Du meinst sein Solo-Debüt „Rhythm and repose“? Schon vergleichbar. Das Album gefiel mir auch gut, während ich beim letzten Album „Didn’t he ramble“ weggeblieben bin. Das neue Album „Between two shores“ wirkt aus der Erinnerung (habe „Rhythm and repose“ länger nicht aufgelegt) teils üppiger instrumentiert. Ich höre auch mehr Soul. Man meint ab und an, Van Morrison stünde hinter der nächsten Ecke und flüstert ihm etwas ein.
