RIP George Mesrop Avakian (Armenian: Գևորգ Ավագյան; Russian: Геворк Авакян; March 15, 1919 – November 22, 2017), der nicht nur diese Aufnahme produziert, sondern als Manager bei Columbia den Karrieren von Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck u.a. auf die Sprünge geholfen hat.
