Fand ich von Anfang an irgendwie „belanglos“. Der Refrain ist toll, die Strophen irgendwie nichtssagend.

Nope, Eddie ging doch durch die Decke. Und am Ende lässt es Tom Petty offen. „I don’t hear a single“. Man darf hier natürlich eine versteckte Abrechnung mit der Record-Industrie vermuten. Das Thema lag Tom Petty ja stets am Herzen.

Das stimmt sicher. Dennoch, für mich fehlt bei dem Stück irgendwie der letzte Rest Rrrrrumsss…
Da hätte ich mir eine orgiastische Steigerung gewünscht die dann verhallt….
