Valentin)Das ist die Erfindung des perpetuum mobile: Ein Leben als selbstbestimmte/r Künstler/in mit nicht immer pflegeleichter Persönlichkeit und die daraus resultierenden oft nicht spannungsfreien Beziehungen mit ebensolchen Persönlichkeiten sorgen für reichlich Stoff, den man zu Songs verarbeiten kann. Das wiederum sichert den Lebensunterhalt als selbstbestimmte/r Künstler/in usw. usf. Geht immer so weiter. Sobald dieser Kreis durchbrochen wird und Friede, Freude, Eierkuchen mit Ehepartner, Kindern, Haus und Hund herrscht, ginge der Stoff aus und es wäre Schluss. Zum Glück tritt das nie ein.
Joni Mitchells Werk ist voll von diesem Beziehungsstress.

Jahaha … diese Kinderliedmelodie lässt bei mir sofort Zweifel an der Belastbarkeit der geschilderten Idylle unter Realitätsbedingungen aufkommen. Und wie lange hat die traute Zweisamkeit von Joni Mitchell und Graham Nash zzgl. Kamin, Katze und Garten gehalten?
