Wahrscheinlich ansteckend.
Habe ich Euch eigentlich schon gesagt, was für eine große Ehre es für mich ist, mit Euch diskutieren zu dürfen? Noch nie in der Geschichte – mit wenigen Ausnahmen – ist so großartig miteinander diskutiert worden. Herzlichen Dank dafür!

da hat ecm ja mal richtig auf die tube gedrückt. erscheint schon am 25.8., und es ist auch eine vinylausgabe angekündigt.

Yup, bin sehr auf die Iyer-CD gespannt … man kann sie auf Amazonien schon seit einigen Wochen vorbestellen (tat ich aber bisher noch nicht).
Die Roscoe Mitchell lag gestern im Briefkasten, aber ich blieb dann den ganzen bei Gundula Janowitz hängen.

Es sind ja vier Trios, die er wieder zusammengetrommelt hat (darunter die Combo Tabbal/Shahid … hatte ich überhaupt nicht mehr auf dem Schirm, dass ich die einst mit Geri Allen zum ersten Mal gehört habe, Shahid hat ja auch mit Phil Cohran gespielt, ist aus Chicago, während Tabbal aus Detroit kommt). Es gibt mit jedem Trio eine Performance, und dann grössere Besetzungen. Die diversen Trommler spielen dabei die Set-Ups der Art Ensemble-Leute (minus Jarman), also Moyes Drum + Percussion, Mitchells Drum-Cage, sowie die Instrumente-Ansammlungen von Bowie und Favors. Schade, dass es im Booklet nicht mehr Photos gibt!

da hat ecm ja mal richtig auf die tube gedrückt. erscheint schon am 25.8., und es ist auch eine vinylausgabe angekündigt.Das bisher gelesene und gehörte macht sehr viel Vorfreude. Vinyl kommt mit vierwöchiger Verzögerung.
