Live in Hollywood (Xanadu, 1952). Schöne Liveaufnahmen. Keine Studioqualität, aber gut hörbar. Mit Hampton Hawes (ja eher Bebop), Joe Mondragon und Shelly Manne. Zumindest als Japan-CD war sie mal erhältlich.
Ja, das ist eine tolle Aufnahme! Hat mir ein Freund mal kopiert – weiss nicht, ob man die sonst finden kann derzeit.
tejazzHow deep/How high (Interplay 1977). Mit Sal Mosca. Schön inspiriert. Ich weiß aber nicht, ob es die auch auf CD gab.
Kommt die auch aus der Peter Ind-Küche? Dort gab’s eine ganze Reihe von LPs… manches davon ist in den letzten Jahren auf Blogs aufgetaucht, auf CD gibt’s davon meines Wissens nichts. (Edit: nein, Ind Label war das Wave Label… was ist Interplay überhaupt für ein Label?)
