Nachtrag zu „Night and Day“: das Monk-Stück heisst in der Tat „Thelonious“, und das Thema bzw. die Melodie (auf einem Ton) lebt von der Rhythmik und den darunter gelegten Akkord-Stakkati… hab das von Monk selbst (und von Bud Powell, der auf dem Columbia-Album, das Monk gewidmet ist, eine sehr schöne Version davon aufnahm) jetzt zwar nicht präsent, höre aber grad Dennis Charles‘ grandiose Version davon auf „Bangception“ (bin durch den Violinen-Thread drauf gekommen)
