Die neue LP „Band of Brothers“ ist richtig dolle gut! Neun neue Songs von Nelson (soviel wie seit „Spirit“ nicht mehr auf neuen Alben zu finden) und die Fremdkompositionen (darunter zwei von Billy Joe Shaver) sind von gleicher Qualität. Die Instrumentierung ist weder zu karg noch zu radiofreundlich, sondern frisch und old school, und die Stimme ist auch noch intakt.
