Am 21. Juli erscheint Chris Frantz‘ Autobiografie.

Ich frage mich, was für unterschiedliche Perspektiven auf die gemeinsame Bandgeschichte die vier Ex-Mitglieder der TH wohl haben? „Mecurial“ übersetzt man wohl mit „wechselhaft / lebhaft / launisch“. Diese Charaktereigenschaften von David Byrne waren wohl sowohl für den Erfolg als auch für das Zerbrechen der TH maßgeblich. Chris Frantz und Tina Weymouth hingegen verkörperten den ruhenden Gegenpol und Jerry Harrison hielt das ganze irgendwie zusammen. Sie brauchten sich wohl alle gegenseitig – bis zu dem Punkt, wo die Spannungen zu groß wurden. Am Ende haben sie sich sogar gegenseitig verklagt.
Aber das ist Spekulation und jede Seite wird eine andere Geschichte erzählen …
