Geil! Ich wusste gar nicht, dass das sonst jemand hier kennt und auf der Eben schätzt. Für mich auch ein kleines Meisterwerk.

Im Nachhinein frage ich mich, warum ich nicht schon vorher an The XX gedacht habe. Ich glaube ganz einfach, weil das Album nicht bei mir sichtbar im Regal steht, sondern in einer Schublade steckt. So viel zur Bedeutung von Tonträgern und deren materiellen Präsenz und Wahrnehmbarkeit.
I See You ist ein tolles Album! Ist das hier eigentlich schon öfter genannt worden?

Pack Allo Darlin‘ in deine Top 20, dann könnten wir zumindest eine Übereinstimmung in unseren Top 20 – Listen haben.

Going down in KackbratzentownHatte überlegt, Europe reinzunehmen, aber beim Debüt fällt mir die Entscheidung deutlich leichter. (Hatte sogar ein T-Shirt beim Konzert in der Astra-Stube gekauft.)

„If loneliness was art, I could hang you from the wall /
In some Berlin hall“natürlich auch klasse gesungen.
Und dann mein Fave vom Album, „Woody Allen“:
