Werbung….das wird sich noch zeigen, sie ist schon eine weile geordert, der verkäufer ist aber in einem längeren urlaub! schätze das es so in der dritten augustwoche bei mir eintrudeln wird. bin da gespannt, ist ja die zeit wo ihre stimme eher monotoner klingt. wird sicher ein interessanter vergleich zu alten live aufnahmen….habe daher nun doch die „let it be me“ auch bestellt…hat schon was von sucht!

Eine eigentlich schwere Aufgabe, aus dem umfangreichen Werk von Nina Simone die 20 besten Stücke zu destillieren – zumal ich das Gesamtwerk auch nur teilweise kenne. Zum Glück habe ich vor etwa 4-5 Jahren eine mehr oder weniger chronologisch geordnete Nina Simone-Playlist mit 20 Tracks zusammengestellt, nachdem ich Nina Simone über einen Film (wieder)entdeckt hatte. Die werde ich mal kritsch gegenhören und in eine qualitative Reihenfolge bringen. Schwer genug …

Vieles höre ich ähnlich, aber es gibt sicherlich Verschiebungen.

Ich fühle mich aber auch weitgehend immun dagegen, wenn Songs in der Werbung zu Tode geritten werden. Siehe auch Belfast Child bei der Simple Minds Umfrage. Daher ist „My Baby Just Cares for Me” meine verdiente No.1. Ansonsten eine schwierige Umfrage, eine Top Twenty zu schneidern und die Titel in die richtige Reihenfolge zu bringen.
