there's room at the top they are telling you still but first you must learn how to smile as you killDanke! Ich höre Dogrel und A Hero’s Death ja jeweils bei ****1/2 auf absoluter Augenhöhe. Kann und mag mich da gar nicht für einen Favoriten entscheiden. Skinty Fia hat zwar hervorragende Einzelstücke, fällt für mich im Gesamtkontext jedoch ab. Ich kann mit den vorhandenen „Gothic“-Einschlägen wenig anfangen, die Stimmung behagt mir einfach nicht. Dem zum Trotz warte aber immer noch darauf, dass ein Track wie Roman Holiday von einer breiteren Öffentlichkeit wahrgenommen wird.

Sie wirkte irgendwie logisch für mich. Auf das erste Hören vielleicht mit weniger Elan, weniger mit dem Kopf durch die Wand, auch noch dunkler (Gothic?) als ohnehin schon, aber für mich gefühlt auch noch intensiver. Auf dem dritten Album sind mit „Jackie down the line“ und „Nabokov“ auch meine derzeitigen Band-Favoriten.
