Gesamtwertung: sehr gute ***1/2

Schottischer Folksänger und Gitarrist, der u.a. auf Fairport Conventions „Unhalfbricking“ und dem Debütalbum von Matthews‘ Southern Comfort mitgewirkt hatte. Produziert von Sandy Roberton (Steeleye Span, Tim Hart & Maddy Prior, The Albion Country Band). Dies erklärt dann auch die illustre Runde der Mitwirkenden: Simon Nicol, Dave Mattacks, Dolly Collins, Ian Matthews, und noch viele mehr.

Schönes Album, das mir aber an manchen Stellen etwas zu gefällig und süßlich produziert ist.

Bester Track ist für mich das Cover von Billy Edd Wheelers „Coal Tattoo“.
