Hm, ich hab ja neulich sein Argo-Album wieder angehört und war einmal mehr enttäuscht … aber das ist ja deutlich später.Es sind fast alle Track via Discogs abrufbar ….
Bei mir geht leider nur „Smoke Gets in Your Eyes“, und das spricht mich höchstens halb an … wird also eher nicht geordert.

Es war @nicht_vom_forum, der uns hier vor ein paar Monaten auf die zwei Sets aufmerksam machte. Das 1962er kaufte ich dann, das 1961er war weg, bevor ich zugreifen konnte … wie üblich bei Chant du Monde sehr ordentlich aufgemacht.
Kann aber leider gar nichts finden, was auf eine Neuausgabe hindeutet – woher kommt die Info?

hier: John Coltrane: European Tour 1961 (80th-Birthday-Collector-Edition)Ich bin gerade nicht zuhause und habe nur auf die mp3s Zugriff, aber die JPC-Informationen scheinen etwas fehlerbehaftet zu sein. JPC ist sich anscheinend selbst nicht sicher, ob es 6 oder 7 CDs sind (Die Erstausgabe hat 7), dafür Haben die CDs 4 und 6 bei jpc mehr Tracks.
P.S.: Bei amazon.fr gibt es auch einen Link zu einer anscheinenden Neuauflage der 61er-Box: https://www.amazon.fr/European-Tour-1961-John-Coltrane/dp/B07GVX9BTC/ (Erscheinungsdatum 09.11. 2018, ohne Erwähnung von „80th-Birthday-Collector-Edition“).
