die ist fantastisch! war ja noch vor dem art ensemble und man merkt, wie viel jarman dazu beigesteuert hat. außerdem ist das die erste aufnahme von fred anderson, oder? und christopher gaddy: völlig verrückter pianist & marimbaspieler, der nie wieder was aufgenommen hat (wohl kurz danach verstorben).

Absolut! Auch die ersten beiden Teile (sind aber kein Jazz). Ich hatte gehofft, dass da in der Folge noch mehr kommt, war aber bislang wohl nichts.

Ich hab die drei gleich alle im Paket gekauft (die CD-Ausgaben – gibt aber nur etwas dünne Pappe dazu und für Vol. 3 Jewel Case statt Digipack – also alle in Jewel Cases, waren die zuerst alle als Digipacks erschienen?).

Ja, ich habe sie mir damals einzeln zugelegt. Sind übrigens auch alle auf Vinyl erschienen.

Hab ich 2004 live am Taktlos Zürich erlebt – war absolut phantastisch, und enorm wuchtig!
Ein paar Monate später wurde das Konzert am Radio übertragen – und liess mich völlig kalt. Schien nur live zu funktionieren, diese Musik.
Wie gefällt Dir denn die CD? Ich hab bisher nur die erste des New Orchestra, „Inscape – Tableaux“, die ist nicht schlecht.--
