Cooler Move, sparch.
Die Martin Sachen wurden damals sehr schmeichelhaft in den einschlägigen Gazetten beurteilt. Ich erinnere mich sogar sehr dunkel (sic) an die Bonus Cuts der Single aus „Headless Cross“. Aus heutiger Sicht finde ich in meiner Sabbath Sammlung jedoch immer eine bessere Platte u. ignoriere die Martin Phase.
Am besten kam ich noch mit dem Dehumanizer Nachfolger klar. TYR u. Headless Cross klingen so verdammt (sic) nach Spätachtzigerproduktion u. zu gewollt evil.
Ich habe übrigens erst vor kurzem gelesen, dass Dehumanizer bereits fast komplett mit Martin u. Powell aufgenommen war bevor man sich umentschied. Die Aufnahmen geistern (sic) durchs Internet.--

Keine bonus cuts……..Schade. Was interessieren mich neue liner notes, wenn ich die ganzen Platten schon habe. Es gibt doch 2-3 unbekannte Demos der Pre-Dehumanizer Phase die nicht auf dem Album gelandet sind. Alles hörenswerte Tracks. Letzte kostspielige Warteschleife vor dem neuen Studioalbum (Sessions im April/Mai) 2009, mehr nicht.

Was mich sonst wundert ist dass „The Rules Of Hell“ eine 5 CD Box sein soll, wobei Heaven & Hell, Mob Rules, Live Evil und Dehumanizer aber nur 4 CDs sind?Ansonsten so als tipp: www.black-sabbath.com (der Webmaster steht in Verbindung mit dem Management und fragt gerade nach)

Was mich sonst wundert ist dass „The Rules Of Hell“ eine 5 CD Box sein soll, wobei Heaven & Hell, Mob Rules, Live Evil und Dehumanizer aber nur 4 CDs sind?Live Evil ist ein Doppelalbum und länger als 80 Minuten. Bisherige Einzel-CD Versionen verfügen z.T. zwar auch über alle Songs, Dios Ansagen wurden hier aber nahezu komplett rausgeschnitten. Es gibt aber auch Versionen, auf denen War pigs der Schere zum Opfer fiel. Von daher wird das Album 2 CDs in Anspruch nehmen.

Ja… ich weiß nicht. Sabbath ist meine all-time-favourite-band weil’s meine erste musikalische „liebe“ war :lol: und ich durch Sabbath selber Bass und Gitarre spielen angefangen hab.
Trotzdem, wenn das Teil teuer wird kauf ich’s mir nicht – das einzige interessante wäre die komplette Live Evil… Und selbst die wird nicht an Radio City Music Hall hinkommen. Bei der stimmte für mich nämlich alles.

das Set ist von einer neuen Mastering Session… also nicht die gleiche wie bei „Dio Years“…. Live Evil ist komplett auf 2 CDs. Es gibt keine Bonus Tracks!

„Extra Tracks: There are no extra tracks here, the albums are as they were originally released. I specifically asked about the alternate version of Mob Rules (Heavy Metal soundtrack), and the alternate version of Letters to Earth (TV Crimes Single). Was told they’re not being included. Less clear are the two versions of Time Machine. The 1992 version released in the US had two versions (standard & Wayne’s World). The WW version was not on versions outside of the US. Since this is being released by Warner/Rhino, it’s likely the one on here will have both, but I don’t know that for sure at this time.
I was told the „new“ extras will be extensive liner notes and things along those lines. I also do not know at this time what the packaging will look like. One of the emails I got said that had yet to be completed, so I doubt there’s full decisions made on this stuff yet. Once I get some artwork and further details, I’ll be sure to update straight away.“
