FriedrichOh ja, das war Party. Vielleicht ist das Wort „Pappmaché“ besser als „Plastik„, denn natürlich waren KC & The Coconuts eine Showband, Kid Creole eine Kunstfigur und mit jeder Menge Flitterkram und Selbstironie ausgestattet.
Plastik war hier nicht despektierlich gemeint, war/ist mehr so ein Codewort für unecht bzw künstlich – was wie Du richtig sagtest ja bei dieser Band der Fall war – und vor allem die von Dir zitierte Selbstironie war für mich ja wesentlicher Teil des Erfolges !!

Das Hauptaugenmerk liegt hier zwar beim Gebäude mit den 4 englischen Musikern, wird aber umrahmt mit Bäumen.
Entstanden ist die Aufnahme im englischen Rushton, Northamptonshire.

Das Cover wäre ohne den Rahmen eigentlich noch schöner. Aber da war Labelbetreiber Stefan Winter die corporate identity wohl wichtiger. Ich habe es einfach mal gephotoshopt.
