Ja, war sie. Und ich denke, vor Amii Stewart gab‘ schon andere Cover. Ich besitze z.B. ein schickes Album von Ella Fitzgerald, da covert sie den Song auch.

Zumindest tourt er noch gelegentlich. Georg hat ihn (vor zwei Jahren?) in Burghausen beim Jazzfest gesehen, mit Blue Lou Marini (der Saxer aus Aretha’s und Matt ‚Guitar‘ Murphy’s Soul Food Cafe).
