WerbungDas Album „Magic potion“ von den Black Keys habe ich auch noch. Danach war ich bei denen raus. Die Frühphase gefällt mir besser als all das, womit sie dann groß geworden sind. Das Riff zum Einstieg hier erinnerte an „Heartbreaker“ von Led Zeppelin.

pipe-bowlDas Album „Magic potion“ von den Black Keys habe ich auch noch. Danach war ich bei denen raus. Die Frühphase gefällt mir besser als all das, womit sie dann groß geworden sind. Das Riff zum Einstieg hier erinnerte an „Heartbreaker“ von Led Zeppelin.

Ja, wobei ich mich an Dan Auerbachs Produktionen etwas sattgehört habe. Robert Finley hat er ja im letzten Jahr ziemlich versaut. Beim neuen Marcus King-Album (Young Blood) hat er sich wieder zurückgehalten.

Ja, wobei ich mich an Dan Auerbachs Produktionen etwas sattgehört habe. Robert Finley hat er ja im letzten Jahr ziemlich versaut. Beim neuen Marcus King-Album (Young Blood) hat er sich wieder zurückgehalten.
Bin ich bei dir, zu Finley hat die Produktion nicht wirklich gepasst, die neue Marcus King kenne ich noch nicht.

ich finde, der sollte sich mal besser entscheiden: aktiver Produzent oder Musiker.
ich hab den Eindruck, er verzettelt sich, worunter hauptsächlich The Black Keys leiden.--

You can't beat two guitars, bass and drums - Lou ReedDas Debüt von „Wolfmother“ hatte ich mal. Habe ich weggegeben. Verstaubte dann doch im Regal. Dieses ist einer der ganz wenigen Tracks, die ich noch (positiv) in Erinnerung habe. Der Gesang hat hier an manchen Stellen etwas von Jack White.

classic 70s Riffrock, Zeppelin, Sabbath etc. etc.
Wolfmother waren ja nur kurz eine richtige Band. Nach dem Debüt war es nur Andrew Stockdale and a bunch of hired guns--
