Der beste Track der Dio Phase.
Mein Wahl würde wohl auf „The Sign of the Southern Cross“ fallen. Aber dieser hier geht auch absolut in Ordnung.
Ich finde ja das Blackmore mäßige „Ende“ des Stücks eine schöne „Anleihe“.

?Gell. Und der Typ aus auf dem Album, sieht aus wie der Kerl in dessen Plattenfundus wir damals immer wühlen durften. Von den Ohren mal abgesehen. Aber tatsächlich. Eine Seele von Mensch.
hab ne compilation von den elves (and before elf … they were elves) mit diesem cover, allerdings mit einem „wackelcover“

Das Album „Mr. Universe“ von 1979 ist ein ziemlicher Kracher.

Da kann ich nicht so mitreden. Iron Maiden habe ich früher primär in den Rockschuppen gehört, wo wir zum „Schütteln“ hingegangen sind. Ich habe glaub ich noch nie eine Maiden Platte „am Stück“ gehört.
