Discogs: Original band name was First Crew To The Moon but was misspelled on their sole 1967 Roulette 45. When Mojo magazine included ‚The Sun Lights Up The Shadows Of Your Mind‘ on their 2009 I Can See For Miles free compilation they reverted to the original band name.

Insgesamt eine feine Auswahl bis hierhin, August.

Discogs: The Five Americans were a 1960’s American garage rock band, most famous for the song „Western Union“.
The Five Americans, previously known as The Mutineers, were from Durant, Oklahoma but resided in Dallas, Texas for the bulk of their existence.
They released 4 albums and 22 singles during their 6 year recording run (1965-1971).
In 1971, after releasing eight more low charting singles, the boys simply got tired of touring and The Five Americans broke up.
